Our Fees
Clear costs. No surprises.
Two stages, priced separately. The Architecture Phase is charged on time and complexity. Ongoing management is a transparent percentage of the assets we look after. You can engage the first without committing to the second.
Architecture Phase — Fee Example
A blended, transparent rate.
Architecture fees are calculated on a time-cost basis using the following blended hourly rates, reflecting the seniority of those involved:
Partner
£575/hr
50% of time
Associate
£300/hr
30% of time
Admin
£85/hr
20% of time
Blended rate: £394.50/hr (£575 × 50% + £300 × 30% + £85 × 20%)
The upper end of high complexity assumes up to 200 hours for multi-jurisdictional or ultra-high-net-worth cases.
NB: For context — estate planning advice alone can save a family six figures in inheritance tax, paying for the entire Architecture Phase many times over. Separately, clients moving from a traditional adviser or SJP-style structure often recover the full Architecture fee in year one from investment management cost savings alone.
Because our advice leads to the arrangement of financial products (financial intermediation), our fees are not subject to VAT. If we ever agree a standalone engagement where VAT applies, we will tell you in writing before any work begins.
Already a client?
Adding to an existing strategy costs nothing.
We charge no fee for you to invest or save more into the plan we have already advised on. A new product or strategy is a project, quoted on time and complexity before we begin.
Typical examples: a new ISA (asset allocation, the right tax wrapper and funds) — about two hours, around £1,000; a new SIPP — about five hours, around £2,500; an offshore bond with a trust — about ten hours, around £5,000. Project work is usually partner-led, so effective rates sit above the blended planning rate.
New wills and trusts are quoted as separate projects; a fixed-fee estate planning menu is available on request.

Family Office
Investment & Fee Structure.
Traditional family offices typically charge £500,000–£2,000,000+ annually, often with hidden overhead, staffing costs and infrastructure fees you will never use. Our Multi-Family Office model is transparent, with a single fixed annual engagement.
The Cost of Doing This Properly
According to JP Morgan's Global Family Office Report, the average annual operating cost to run a traditional family office — even at the smallest institutional level — exceeds $875,000 per year. For families in the £20m–£100m range, replicating that infrastructure independently would consume a disproportionate share of their wealth.
Our Multi-Family Office model delivers the same strategic capability — without the overhead, the staffing or the infrastructure you will never fully use.
